Una Flor Extranjera explores the experience of arriving in a new place while carrying grief, and how environment shapes the slow work of becoming. Through landscapes, color, and material, the pieces trace the rhythm of death and renewal that I rediscovered in Asturias—both in its natural world and in the people who welcomed me. Together, the works offer a reflection on how unfamiliar terrain can become the ground where transformation begins.
